Generation Rx has a follow-up to a Medication Safety Awareness presentation that we did two years ago whenever Nashville COP opened up for P2's. The teacher at Overton High (Ms. Denise Wigginton) has allowed us to come back and speak to her Health Science classes about pharmacy as a whole as well as Medication Drug Abuse to raise awareness. Not only do we have the opportunity to inform high school students about an awesome profession that they could be a part of, but we also get to educate about the humongous epidemic that is prescription drug abuse. We love to partner with schools that we have a standing relationship with as it helps UTCOP gain more traction in our community!
