The geriatric population is a targeted audience that is often missed, but we hope to reach them with this event. We hope to help them understand their medications by offering a brown bag event, and we want them to be aware of the drug abuse and misuse issues our society is facing. We will have a short presentation, which will focus on the drug abuse problem and common ways people misuse medications. Then, we will have a brown bag event where we will review their medications and talk with them about their regimen. At the end, we hope they feel confident in taking their medications and understand why their medications are important.
